For the fourth consecutive year, Tongue Tamers has accomplished all ten possible goals in the Distinguished Club Program (DCP), a benchmark program administered by Toastmasters International to measure club performance. For the past ten years in a row, our club has been awarded the President’s Distinguished distinction, the highest recognition a Toastmasters club can achieve. Right on, Tongue Tamers!
On 6/27/19, Tongue Tamers elected a new secretary for the 7/1 – 12/31/2019 term: Bradley Jones could not accept the position due to a temporary relocation and Roozbeh Kalhor, EC1 has been elected as his replacement.
Online registration for LACE is open (www.foundersdistrict.org/LACE)! LACE will take place at Chapman University in Orange and provide you with informative and entertaining workshops from 9:00 am to 3:50 pm for only $15 (lunch included). All incoming officers should attend officer training for their respective roles. If we have all seven elected officers trained, each member will receive a $5 discount at the next LACE in January 2020.
On 6/6/19, Tongue Tamers elected its new officer team: President Erica Stoll; VP Education Stefan Blasig, ACS, ALB; VP Membership Robert Acosta, DTM; VP Public Relations Martin Acosta, ACS, ALB, EC1; Secretary Brad Jones; Treasurer Irina Efremova, PI1; and Sergeant-at-Arms Keiko Parker will represent the club from 7/1 to 12/31/2019.
